Some minor additions have been added to the website: - Added an OnBeforeUnload function, which will verify your intentions to leave the editor. Some modifications are needed to only do this if the file has been changed, however this will be a temporary solution which I believe is better than accidentally loosing any code modifications.
- Java is well on its way. Once I finish testing and verifying I will start allowing users to create Java projects.

The early results from the current poll (which language should I add next), is current 8-1 for Java. Since no matter what language I will be implementing I needed to re-architect the Compiling Service from scratch so that it is easier to extend. I have decided on the design and have started writing the code and it is nearly completed. So to test my new service I have also started playing around with adding a Java Compiler. With any luck I should be able to release this for testing by the end of April. |

I have updated the IDE so that you can now see the MD5 checksum for your project. The checksum value gets updated whenever you project has successfully been built (a failed build has no effect). I have decided to not bother zipping the exe since the poll I conducted was very close between zipped executable and unzipped. |

Yesterday, I had been player with my compiler when I notice that the error panel had no way to determine the difference between an Actual Error and a Warning. I have updated this, so that it now shows an image based on the data. An error will display a red circle with an X inside of it, while a warning will display a green yield sign. |

I'm looking into some SEO optimization. Hopefully I will be able to get this website within the top five search results for the term "online compiler". It shouldn't be that difficult because the current websites don't really deal all that much with the subject, however I really don't know all that much about SEO so I may be underestimating the task. If you interested in doing a link exchange with Compilr and have a software development related website please let me know. In the mean time I have posted some bid requests on both rentacoder and oDesk. |
